Meet James DeHoff
Founder and Wealth Advisor
Mathematics, probability, and finance have always been interesting to me. Growing up in Michigan, I spent family Euchre games replaying every hand afterward — wondering if there was a smarter move that would give me a better probability of winning. I guess I’ve always loved strategy.
That interest followed me to Central Michigan University, where I earned my degree in Mathematics and discovered my passion for helping people with their finances.
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked in the finance industry, and in my most recent role I served about 350 households — helping clients retire efficiently through asset management, tax planning, and Social Security/Medicare strategies.
I truly love helping people retire. After losing a few loved ones over the past five years — people who never got to enjoy the retirement they were working toward — I realized how important this work really is. It’s why I started this practice: to help people retire earlier, live better, and actually enjoy the years they’ve earned.
Outside of work, I’m married to my wife, Leanna, and we have two daughters, Brinley and Brooklyn, who keep life full, and meaningful. They’re the reason I care so much about helping families build a future they can truly enjoy.
