Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a fiduciary?
If I am giving investment advice and charging a fee, I would be acting in a fiduciary capacity. That means that I need to act in the best interest of the client with loyalty and good faith.
What is a fee only advisor?
DeHoff Wealth Advisory, LLC is a fee only firm. Many advisors are not fee only. Being a fee only advisor means that I only charge for advice. I do not earn any commissions or sell commissionable products. This takes away a big conflict of interest. If an advisor is using commissionable products, they are not acting in a fiduciary capacity when they recommend them.
Can you really withdraw from your retirement assets before age 59.5?
Yes you can. There are many strategies that you can use to access funds early (ex: rule of 55, rule 72t, IRS allowed withdrawals).
